SICL secures a major Dell EMC VxRail project

SICL is delighted to announce that it has secured a major Dell EMC VxRail project.

Dell Technologies is the market leader in hyper-converged architectures (HCI) and SICL is proud to be part of that success.

The culmination of a carefully planned engagement with the client, the project was won in typical SICL style with a committed team of specialist technicians engaging closely with the client to understand their requirements and propose an innovative, forward-thinking solution. There was strong competition to win this deal, but SICL’s technical superiority proved to be the key competitive advantage.

The client was due a hardware refresh and looking to achieve a performance boost for day-to-day business usage. Their challenge was whether to do a traditional refresh – or to explore something different. The new solution will drive performance and increase productivity in the business from Outlook emails to critical applications.

VxRail not only solved the immediate needs, but will reduce maintenance time long-term, simplify scaling and ease a move to the Cloud. By purchasing through SICL, the client has access to SICL’s specialist Dell EMC engineers to maintain the solution, and the Dell EMC Gold partnership assures them of quality advice and service.

“We immersed ourselves in the client’s business allowing us to fully understand their current and future needs and to match those with the most appropriate technology” says Shirley Firth, MD of SICL. “Our approach allows us to have real strategic input ensuring any solution is relevant and future-proofed.”
