If you provide us with your mobile phone number, you agree to receive text messages to that number from us. This data is entirely voluntary and only used in business communications, for which you have the choice to ‘opt out’ by following the instructions contained in the email or the instructions on our website. The information you share with us
We require certain information to provide our products and services to you. For example, you must have an account with us to be able to obtain support from SICL. When you choose to share the information below with us, SICL does not acquire any more information about you other than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely.
Basic Account Information
If you do choose to obtain Services from SICL, you must provide us with some personal data so that we can provide our services to you. For example your first and last name, your email address and/or phone number.
We use your contact information, such as your email address or phone number, to provide our services to you, for example, technical support. We also use personal information to customise our services and to send you information about our services.
If you email us, we will keep the content of your message, your email address, and your contact information to respond to your request.
Financial information that is collected is used to bill either you or your company for products and services, as applicable.
SICL will remove personal information following a deletion request within five working days, with the exception of personal information stored within SICL’s Service Desk software as this information is linked to any previous support requests raised by the individual and required to preserve the audit trail. Other exceptions are where there is a legal or regulatory requirement to keep this data.
Additional information we receive about you and information we share and/or disclose
SICL uses third-party software for analytics. All metrics information collected from your usage of our website(s) shall be transmitted to analytics provider. This information is then used to evaluate how users use the SICL website, and to compile statistical reports on activity for us. We further use the same statistical analytics tool to track or to collect your Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Third party analytics software will not share your PII or associate your PII with any other data held by them. We use Google Analytics (Third Party).
SICL employees and privacy
SICL educates all of our employees about the importance of privacy both at the start of their employment with SICL and at regular intervals. SICL gives access to your information only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs.
Access by our employees
SICL representatives have access to PII in order to provide our Service(s). SICL limits that access to the minimum information required in order to provide prompt, high-quality service. All SICL employees have undergone background checks prior to commencement of employment with SICL.
Privacy and SICL business partners
Provision of information to others
To perform our services, SICL must, of course, pass information about transactions to payment card processors and banks. From time to time we may also provide third parties with aggregate information that is not linked to you or any other any particular individual. SICL does not provide to any third party your name and e-mail address, or the names and e-mail addresses of other SICL customers.
Information/Data Centre Security
SICL operates out of UK-only, geographically resilient, secure, environmentally-controlled commercial Tier 3+ DataCentres with IT infrastructure owned and managed by SICL.
SICL’s infrastructure is a designed on highly-resilient enterprise architecture briefly comprising: Cisco security, routing and switching; DellEMC Compellent tiered Storage; segregated Microsoft Active Directory domains plus Microsoft SharePoint and other Microsoft applications provisioned by a VMware Virtualisation platform using Veeam and Zerto to replicate between DataCentres for back-up and recovery.
DataCentres have manned security 24/7/365, perimeter fencing and CCTV coverage points on all internal/external, entry and exit points. CCTV images are recorded and stored within the DataCentre rack-aisles. Access to SICL’s infrastructure is restricted to authorised personnel, with an anti-tailgating pod, access is strictly controlled on a photo ID swipe card entry system and manned guarding.
Information we share and disclose
It is SICL’s policy to never provide your information to third parties without your express permission, or if such disclosure is necessary to process transactions, or provide services which you have requested. The only exception to this policy is if SICL is compelled to do so by an appropriately empowered governmental authority.
Children and Our Services
Our services are not directed to children. You must also be old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data in your country.

Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

SICL Limited strictly prohibits the use of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations. We have and will continue to be committed to implementing systems and controls aimed at ensuring that modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our organisation. We expect that our suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Modern slavery is a term used to encompass slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, bonded and child labour and human trafficking. Human trafficking is where a person arranges or facilitates the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited. Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights.
We shall be a company that expects everyone working with us or on our behalf to support and uphold the following measures to safeguard against modern slavery:
- Have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in our organisation and our supply chains.
- The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our organisation is the responsibility of all those working for us or on our behalf. Workers must not engage in, facilitate or fail to report any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of this policy.
- We are committed to engaging with our stakeholders and suppliers to address the risk of modern slavery in our operations.
- We take a risk based approach to our contracting processes and keep them under review. We assess whether the circumstances warrant the inclusion of specific prohibitions against the use of modern slavery and trafficked labour in our contracts with third parties. Using our risked based approach we will also assess the merits of writing to
suppliers requiring them to comply with our Code of Conduct, which sets out the minimum standards required to combat modern slavery and trafficking.
- Consistent with our risk based approach we may require:
- employment and recruitment agencies and other third parties supplying workers to our organisation to confirm their compliance with our Code of Conduct
- suppliers engaging workers through a third party to obtain that third parties’ agreement to adhere to the Code
- As part of our ongoing risk assessment and due diligence processes we will consider whether circumstances warrant us carrying out audits of suppliers for their compliance with our Code of Conduct.
- If we find that other individuals or organisations working on our behalf have breached this policy we will ensure that we take appropriate action. This may range from considering the possibility of breaches being remediated and whether that might represent the best outcome for those individuals impacted by the breach to terminating such relationships
