Email Policy

This Statement relates to email sent from SICL:

The information in any e-mail messages received from SICL is confidential and may also be privileged. It is for the intended recipient only. Access to such e-mail by any other party is unauthorised. It is not to be relied upon by any person other than the intended recipient except with SICL's prior written approval. If no such approval is given, SICL will not accept any liability (in negligence or otherwise) arising from any third party acting, or refraining from acting, on such information. Unauthorised recipients are required to maintain confidentiality. If e-mail is received in error please notify the sender immediately, destroy any copies and delete it from computer system(s).

Copyright in e-mail and any document attachment created by SICL will be and remain vested in SICL and will not be transferred. SICL asserts the right to be identified as the author of and to object to any misuse of the contents of such e-mail or other documents. Opinions, conclusions and other information expressed in such messages are not given or endorsed by SICL unless otherwise indicated by an authorised representative independent of such messages.

SICL scans all email both in and out of the domain. Multiple level systems are deployed to quarantine infected emails. Whilst every care has been taken to ensure email is virus-free SICL cannot be held responsible, or liable, for email containing viruses or the effects thereof.
